When you were 10 years old, what were your career aspirations?
I wanted to be a movie actress. I was in a lot of school plays growing up and loved the attention!
What's your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy working on client portfolios and financial plans. The absolute favorite part of my job is building a tailored investment plan for each client. Every client is different and has different investment needs so no two days are ever alike.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I think being able to move to different cities on my own has been my greatest achievement. I moved to Nashville for college at a young age. In 2013, I decided to move to San Francisco without a job and without knowing a soul. It has been rewarding to prove to myself that I can survive anywhere on my own.
What talent would you most like to have?
I wish I had a great singing voice. I love to sing and after living in Nashville, I have really come to respect the craft. Having a bad singing voice doesn’t stop me from singing, but for everyone else’s sake, it would be nice to have good vocals!
What trip or hobby delighted you in the past year?
Working in finance, a lot of deals are done on the golf course. I recently learned how to play golf and it has taught me a lot about myself. I am typically an impatient person but this sport has showed me that being patient with yourself will give you better results than trying to rush improvement.
