I can't believe it's been a year since I met you all during the Scholarship selection and celebration process. I'm finishing up my first year at Stanford GSB, and I continue to be so very thankful for your support — financial, professional and personal — over this past year. I've so enjoyed meeting with my mentor, Pat Hudson, and attending several fantastic FWSF events in the city.
I regret deeply that I won't be able to attend this year's Scholarship Awards Luncheon, especially because I remember how much I appreciated meeting former recipients last year. My very best friend is getting married, so I'll be on the East Coast next week. That said, I look forward to congratulating the new recipients in the coming weeks.
A quick update on me: I'm interning this summer for BCG in San Francisco (although I may be on a case elsewhere). The interview process for the position was competitive, and I'm sure it didn't hurt that BCG Partner Henning Streubel first "met" me during the Financial Woman of the Year celebration when he saw the Scholarship Recipient video.
Many thanks for all you do to make FWSF such an impactful success!
