Rosenblum - Silverman - Sutton
Director Business Development & Marketing
When you were 10 years old, what were your career aspirations?
When I was 10 years old I was sure I was going to be a veterinarian. Naturally I was a care-taker of animals and little children at that time. I started babysitting when I was 9 years old and then got my first pony when I was 9 years old as well. Someone had to pay to feed him!
What's your favorite part of your job?
Essentially I am a teacher and educator, who loves helping people solve problems in their financial and business practices. I don’t mind asking the hard questions while mindfully meeting clients where they are. Because my job involves creative work, marketing and design, as well as analytical skills using numbers and facts, I feel satisfied on multiple levels.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My biggest achievement is probably getting my masters degree while working full time as a single mom of two kids. I am the first person in my family to graduate from college and the only one to finish a graduate program. I used my education and experience to become a financial advisor and have been involved on many levels of financial services for the past 18 years. This has been a huge achievement in my life because it’s allowed me to raise four children.
What talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to play a musical instrument and sing like a bird!
What trip or hobby delighted you in the past year?
I had the most over-the-top trip to Costa Rica in March. We stayed at iguana preserve and went on a rafting trip to stay at an amazing eco-lodge.
